Help secure the cover
Place gallon jugs, half full of gravel, at regular intervals around the pool. The weight helps keep the winter cover from flapping in the wind.
Use the illustration as a guide for spacing the jugs around the pool perimeter. Check the cover and its weights periodically through the winter, especially after windy weather.
